Description
This pavilion was the winning entry in the competition to design and fabricate a Pavilion for the Expo Pop-Up Cities: Edinburgh. Konishi Gaffney Architects and Toby Maclean conceived the pavilion as an origami-like folded structure, triangulated for stiffness and ease of fabrication. It is made from timber frames cut from Scottish Larch and also clad in Scottish Larch, showcasing the versatility of this timber.
